Good breakfast

Die Lage ist unschlagbar. Das Frühstückspersonal ist SO nett!! Die Betten waren gut. Das Bad war in Ordnung.

Das Frühstück ist unterdurchschnittlich, keinen Aufschnitt etc. Allerdings eine große Auswahl an Eiern. Für Veganer gibt es aber im Grunde nicht viel bis fast gar nichts.

Food was brilliant staff great

We had dogs and room was at top of building. Bit of a struggle getting crate etc and bags and dogs up stairs especially since it was so busy could not park outside hotel. Car park a bit of a distance. Would have been fine if you only had one bag or so. We managed and night before leaving managed to park in front for easy departure.

The welcome from Jane on reception was very warm. The shower was lovely, the room was large clean. The breakfast was fantastic, vegan option was delicious.

The length of the bed, my feet stuck out at the end. The room we booked was at the back of the property so had to leave through the front door to get to the back. If this could be made clearer on booking it would be good. I missed it if it was.

Very good selection of breakfast items room was clean comfortable shower was excellent for disability Bar staff were friendly and waitress / waiter were great nother to much for them O thought it was going to be noisy with having a pub on premises bit no it wasn't

Nothing was wrong

Booked in for three nights in a superior room at £250 per night b & b. Lovely big room with castle view, good breakfast but there the good news ends. Room lacks things you’d expect in a superior room - especially a fridge and a safe but my real complaint is that after day one housekeeping did not clean the bathroom, vacuum the carpet nor wipe the small table which had coffee cup rings on it from our morning drink. We did get complimentary water but only a bottle each for the whole stay. Bath towels were not replaced either - oh, and there’s no lift. Our room was up three flights of twisting narrow stairs, we are both in our seventies yet no- one offered to deliver our suitcases to our room for us on arrival. Come on Victoria Hotel, you are nearly a good hotel but there’s too much penny pinching and lax housekeeping for the price you are charging. What a shame!

Lovely large room, very clean and well set up. Bar and restaurant areas really nicely set up.

One of the restaurant staff was a bit rude. Turned up at 8.15 with a dinner reservation booked through the reception to be greeted by ‘what now!?” from waitress and a look to the ceiling. Not welcoming. Then got our order wrong.
