Hotel Residencial Edzná

Aside from being a great location and helpful staff, the room is absolutely overpriced for what it is. It was a small barren room, no side lamp, no place to set your luggage or clothes aside from the floor, no bench, hangers, nothing, just a bed, a small table and a tv. Felt like a hospital room. No windows, the bathroom smells of chemicals and there was a huge cockroach which the staff kindly got rid of for me. WiFi is poor. They have a nice terrace, but there is no shade so it is almost impossible to stay there if not when the sun is down. I was thankfully there only for one night, could not have stayed longer. They have a detachment which is Hotel Edzna, around the corner, is cheaper and rooms are big in a charming old building. Make sure you book that instead.

it’s located in the old city part. So everything except the ADO station and Fort San Miquel is near and can easy done by walking. There are a lot of food options near by. The lady from the reception told my a local place outside the tourist area with local Campeche food which was really cheap and good. Also the laundry service is very cheap and good.

Location is great. Workers are really nice. There was nobody else than me and a friend in the dormitory so it was great but I think if you cram 8 people it might not be thst great because there is only one bathroom for the ladies and 2 showers but the 2 showers are inside the bathroom so realistically you can only be on person using either the shower or the bathroom. It was clean but the bathroom weren't that clean. The terrace.

The fans that make a really huge noise. And without the fans it can be hot. The 2 showers and the toilet in the same bathroom

Good terrace, good position

Cleaning was made once a day in the shared bathroom. At the end of the day was horrible. No facilities in the dormitory and one person was eating fish for breakfast at 7 am. I reported but no one did anything about it
