The Location, Welcome drink and the meals prepared by Bawantha and his hospitality, the atmosphere the calm and quiet environment during the daytime is very good. because of one bad staff I have to rate 1 but Bawantha was so kind and was very helpful.

We booked for 2 nights, but we have to shorten our stay for a night due to 1. our privacy was breached no 2. cleanliness was not up to par level. The first day, we arrived at the hotel at about 3 pm and we were warmly welcomed by the staff (Bawantha) who was very hospitable and checked in to the room and welcome drinks were served which initially felt awesome. we had no issues until we went out for dinner and came back. we had changed into our night outfits at about 11.15 PM and getting ready to have a peaceful sleep after a long drive, my wife had to finish up some work and send some emails prior going to bed, while she was drafting emails and me lying down on the extra bed which was next to the window, i felt some movements outside of the window. Firstly, i thought to myself since we are into a remote area it could be wild animals roaming freely around but my gut feeling said something is not right. after few seconds I saw the same movement again, i immediately moved the blind to see what it was and to surprisingly find out one of the staff member is peeping into our room and looking at my wife who was unaware that she was being watched from the outside. I then questioned why he was standing and peeping into the room, but that staff member did not have anything to respond, and he fled the from the scene immediately after caught red handed. Immediately Called Bawantha (The supervisor) and informed what happened and he too was shocked to hear but ultimately with fear and Trauma we had to spend the entire night sleepless after experiencing a very bad experience at that time of the day despite nowhere to go we had to force ourselves to spend the night in the property. i will not comment about the cleanliness as the outdoor washroom was not cleaned for decades and pictures which are attached will prove it and i will leave the decision to people who read this and want to go. do not speak to Chinthaka at the head office if you have issues as it won't help you.

Beautiful setting. Peaceful, isolated. Private pool. Helpful staff.

Really beautiful place, good location, perfect to rest

It was our second time in this place and we still love it. We are really feeling good here in this beatiful place with a magical garden with many anilmals. We love every members of the staff they are really kind and warm-hearted persons. The breakfast and food are also nice. We enjoyed the open-space bathroom. You can feel close to the nautre here in a calm way. We didn't use the pool however it is not bad an private pool in the middle of a "paradise". :) Highly recommend it!

If you prefer a big hotels and resorts maybe it won't be your favorite. The mattress would be a bit softer for me however my husband prefer this.

Everything was amazing. The manager Mr.Bawantha is very kind person and asked and fulfiledl all our requests. Will definitely come back again

The outdoor bathroom and the nice room , big and clean beds

When we arrived the swimming pool was not clean (a lot of leaves) , the mirror in the bathroom needs to be clean … We asked for towels (because used them for the swimming pool but we never didn’t get new one) The staff is a bit oppressive , they regularly came to our space to ask us questions. We had a problem paying by card. It said on my account that the money was debited but the staff absolutely wanted me to pay again. We waited 40 minutes for this to be sorted out (call to the bank to make sure they had received the money). We finally had to pay in cash. If you want to eat at the restaurant for the evening they will say it’s better to eat outside haha.
