Stanza veramente enorme con bagno all’aperto spettacolare. La chicca di questo hotel. Colazione possibilità di scelta tra locale o inglese. Lo staff non parla bene inglese, ma servizievoli e gentilissimi. Spesso non li si sente, ma escono dalle piante del giardino dicendo “hey madame” per sapere se tutto va bene. La prima volta ci si spaventa poi è piacevole.

Posizione scomoda, se non si ha un Tuk Tuk di fiducia (potrebbero fregarvi con i prezzi) è praticamente impossibile muoversi. Impensabile a piedi perché lontano dal centro di Dambulla. Ma come in ogni struttura che si rispetti, hanno un cugino che risolve tutto.

Very nice and pleasant room, very quiet place near a lake with lots of birds. Very pleasant host and great food!

The Place is in a remite Part if Dambulla, with a nice view on a small Lake, very quiet Place. We hat two small Villas with terrace and small pools each, Breakfast was delicious , esoecially Sri Lankan Breakfasr and served at the terrace at the time we chose. Best expereinxe was rge Staff, very friendly and extremely helpful. The Owner , Nalaka, was organizing everytgung we asked for, and he was even helping out during our Trips, as ine if our children got sick during a Safari, Nalaka managed medial care and a room by a friend for me and my son to Stay,,while the rest of the family wenn on with the Safari. In the site there's also Ranga, who takes care of everything and dies rhis in a very call and friendly manner! We rallye enjoyed our statt there and can Highly recommend a visit!

MBS is made of three chalet in the middle of the forest. The concept behind the resort is to give you the chance to stay as close as possible to nature. The bathroom directly opens over the jungle without any wall. Taking a shower looking at trees and brushing the your teeth with a small frog looking at you from the sink are two of the best moments we had in Sri Lanka. During our stay we had the pleasure to meet the owner Chris. He was incredibly helpful in organizing all the transfers we needed and in giving us ideas on what to do. Plus he is a very plesant and interesting person to talk to. Chris told us about his plans for future develpments of MBS and we beelieve that it will become one of the best places to stay in the Dambulla area. The staff is very kind and tried to meet all the needs we had. We definitly recomend a stay at MBS.

Its rural location just outside the town of Dambula. It was wonderful to see so many birds and other wildlife. Good place for visiting Sigiriya and sights in Dambula. The staff looking after the place were very friendly and helpful

The hot shower was not working for the first 3 days of our stay. The water was tepid at best. The staff were aware of this and they said they had reported it.

The Mind Body and Soul, a one-house hotel in the woods by the lake, has large rooms, a private pool, a large bathroom in the open air (and of course, a shower in the open air), and is awakened in the morning by birds, dogs, monkeys and squirrels jumping in the trees. The staff was very hospitable, asked about breakfast and check-out times, and took care to prepare a delicious breakfast for us and help us carry our boxes.

The bath water is not very hot, I wish I could have hotter water to bathe in.
