Lapeng hotel, conference and wedding venue

When my wife and I arrived for check in. We waited at reception for 20 minutes before we somebody , drinking beer, helped us I was then asked what I wanted . I said I would like to check in. He said that’s impossible. They are fully booked. I showed him my confirmed booking on booking.Com . It was a non refundable booking. He then laughed and said it’s booking.Com fault. They don’t have any available rooms .

I was very disappointed by the way this establishment conducts their business. First of all I do not understand why it is on Booking.com if it doesn't follow their T&Cs. I was very disappointed at the fact that the establishment did not try to charge our company credit and still fail to let me as the booker know that they will only accept payment upon checking in. My colleague almost slept on the streets because the hotel was not paid I understand that but they could have at least had a little consideration towards the ladies, as I had assured them payment will be made the ff morning. They kept on pressuring us to a point where they even took our colleagues ID as surety that they will receive payment. They received their payment, no apology whatsoever or any form of communication after payment received. Our colleagues' stay was ruined plain and simple, did not even enjoy their stay, they were kept at the hotel and could go and do their work.
