Spotlessly clean room. Great location.

Lovely, friendly and accommodating owner who went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. Lovely, room, perfect for our needs over the weekend. Beautiful location and fantastic food. Breakfast in particular gets a 10/10 from me.

Red stain on duvet, told it was ironing stain, when I complained Mark just went into next room and plonked next doors duvet on my bed unmade with no apology and walked off Very rude in bar, garlic bread burnt outside uncooked in middle

Fabulous stay, really clean and welcoming.

Last minute booking. Friendly staff, good food and a clean, well presented bedroom. Stayed here with my mum as moving to the area and could not quite be bothered to construct a flat packed bed. Arrived in time for food, and although this took a while to come, the burger was excellent and my pie was a cracker. Declined dessert as too full! Nice people who were helpful and chatty. Left washbag behind and they were very helpful and responsive in getting this back. I would recommend to anyone in the area. Proper old fashioned traditional pub with mismatched furniture.

Bit of a gap under the bedroom door let in some cool air, but no real issues.
