Villa Atulya at Ocean's edge

Booked the villa due to its location, direct access to the beach. Mirissa harbour is just 7 min away for whale watching. Property is super clean and the staff makes sure of proper hygiene and cleanliness time to time. The villa has an infinity pool overlooking the ocean. Fresh water spouting over the surface to keep the water clean at all times. Staff is super warm, kind and polite and make sure of providing every kind of comfort and provision required during stay. I can say they can go out of their way to provide for a comfortable stay for their guests. Very humble and down to earth. Food is provided a la carte, but own preference can be requested too and they are kind enough to prepare the same.

Staff were brilliant and very accommodating. Location was great, nearby restaurants and snorkelling centre. Peaceful in July. Excellent selection from the menu.

Magnifique villa qui par chance a été juste pour nous 3!! Nous avions carrément une piscine privée face à l'océan. Le personnel est disponible et très serviable. Il faut les contacter en appuyant sur une sonnette. Hôtel + piscine très propre. On a passé 4 jours magiques. Nous n'avons pas testé les menus mais juste les sandwichs à midi car nous mangions à Mirissa le soir. Il n'est pas possible de se baigner juste devant l'hôtel mais il y a quelques bassins naturels à 2 min. Sinon les plages se trouvent à environ 20 min de marche. Très belle balade!! Le personnel organise le tuk-tuk pour se rendre en ville + navette aéroport. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel.

Aesthetically pleasing and spacious Bawa inspired villas. 2 pools, pristine sea, good food and service. Appreciate the lack of dogs. Quiet respite from barking and unhygenic spaces.

Please refuse the use of single-use plastic. Plastic straws and water bottles are completely unnecessary. Let's work together to keep Sri Lanka beautiful.

We had 4 rooms booked and had the entire villa to ourselves and the villa staff were very accommodating - even our very late arrival (after 12 midnight) . Location is fantastic- right on the beach- rocky but you can walk along the rocks to sandy stretches . The Villa is walkable to attractions in Mirissa- including coconut tree hill and lovely little coves where we snorkelled with sea turtles. Short tuktuk ride to the main beach restaurant/ Bar strip which is lively during sunset/ evening.

Everything was as advertised- we didn’t have any issues.
