"Good place to relax and unwind."

The leisure complex is great, well maintained medium sized indoor and ouside pool, good sauna (again inside an a small external barrel sauna) and a steam room. The rooms were clean with comfortable beds and furniture. The resteraunt was interment with exceptionally good food. Plenty of places to relax in the bar lounge areas. Externally the grounds were extensive with interesting features, eg well stocked pond water feature and nice accent lighting to outside sitting areasStaff were very helpful and friendly.

Other reviews mentioned tired decor which was apparent, but appeared more an indication of well occupied accommodation. The gardens could have done with some attention, and the tennis court probably not a feature to recommend with tired asphalt an an area of collapsing fence.

"Lovely hotel, really enjoyed our stay"

Lovely hotek, setting and grounds. The staff were amazing. Very friendly and very willing to help. The spa was great, very clean and lots of different areas. Rooms were clean. Food was lovely. Grounds were superb and well maintained.

The carpets! All a bit dated, very 70s'. Although clean, the whole place could do with an upgrade. Check in wasnt until 2pm. Understand that but we were shown our rooms at 12 ... they were ready to use so a little annoying that we had to kill time until 2pm.
