Overall, the experience was positive. The mountain view, the renovated spa, and the incredibly skilled massage therapist really saved the situation! However, there were some significant drawbacks. There was a clear mismatch between price and quality. The rooms are outdated in style and very small. The reception staff were unfriendly and unprofessional. Everything took them an unreasonably long time to process. We had an issue with loud noise coming from the ventilation in our room, which made it impossible to sleep or relax. The management completely ignored our complaints at first. Only after two days of pressure did they start to respond! We asked to change rooms, but they didn’t have a room available in the same category and demanded an extra payment for the upgrade. That is outrageous and unacceptable, especially considering we had already endured two sleepless nights! Eventually, we were given a better room — but only after a lot of effort on our part. This left us with a very unpleasant aftertaste and disappointment from our stay. It’s disheartening and shows a lack of respect for hotel guests.
