Location

Rooms were too hot. We could not sleep at night. Staff called us at 11pm at night to pay local taxes. We had to wake up at 5am next morning. Taxes should be charged at the beginning of the stay. We also booked a taxi. It did not arrive.

Schoenegg hotel in Zermatt has a unique position offering an unrestricted view of Matterhorn, very comfortable and importantly with a friendly helpful staff - an example of Swiss hospitality. The breakfast is exceptional and the restaurant offers very high quality menu.
