The hotel has outstanding views of Matterhorn. Also the breakfast was phenomenal. The staff is super helpful and always is willing to share a lot of tips about zermatt. Regarding the location, the hotel is just a 2 minutes walk to the Sunnegga Rothorn lifts which make it really convenient if you plan to enjoy the ski station. Finally the hotel provides a shuttle service from/to zermatt train station. Will definitely come back

A very pleasant hotel, very well situated for the main lift station, very good restaurant and most accomodating staff.

Right from the time they picked us up from the train station, the experience was nothing short of WOW. The Hotel itself is very well located, right next to the Ski lifts. If you have kids, they'd love the entrance to the hotel, from a tunnel. The facilities and amenities at the property are all very good and efficient. Extra points for the staff who are extremely courteous and always ready to help.

There was absolutely nothing not to like about our stay.

The hotel sits high overlooking Zermatt and is close to the Sunnegga lift. It has a traditional, old-school Swiss feel to it--which we really liked. There is an awesome tunnel in the village that leads to a lift for easy access to the hotel. Our room had a great view of the Matterhorn when the weather allowed. The breakfast was delicious and loved by everyone in our family. The linens were cozy and comfortable. The hotel staff serviced our room every day and provided turn-down service at night. The convenient boot room with warmers and locked ski room were much appreciated. The deck provided a great view of the village apres ski. And the cozy bar was a nice final stop in the evenings.

We loved almost everything about the hotel and our experience. If I had to name one thing, it would be that the hot tubs in the spa area were warm and not hot. However, the lower temperature may be a cultural difference; it was not what we were used to.

Amazing restaurant with high quality food, great service and incredible views of Matterhorn. Hotel staff was super friendly including pickup and drop-off at train station.

Elevator is a bit slow and small also used by house-keeping.

Excellent hotel- expensive as relais chateaux hotrls tend to be but felt value for money in that price bracket
