Hotel Ristorante Ca' Nova

Nice location( away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist but those spots were accessible via the many busses that ran along the main highway. The bus stop was less than 200m from the hotel. The staff and the food in the restaurant were good. Though the hotel desk is not manned after a certain time, we had a key to come and go as we pleased. In spite of the small issues we really enjoyed our stay!

I only have 2 really small complaints is that the room was small, and the air conditioning could have been a little cooler. But we made due and bought small fans to circulate air in the room to make it comfortable.

It was comfortable

I told the hotel that I would check in at 15.30. I arrived there about 15.20 and the hotel was closed. The doors were locked and no one was there. I waited about an hour and still no one came. Then I texted the hotel, call the hotel but no one answered. I was about to give up and look for another hotel then I decided to give one more chance and text from whatsapp. When I was texting I realised that the number they wrote in booking.com is another hotels number(hotel laguna). I walked there to ask for help and the woman in reception told me to go back to my hotel and she would call them. I walked back waited about 20 minutes and finally someone open the doors.

Pretty clean, and the balcony area was brilliant.

Air con wasn’t great, staff were extremely rude and very rarely there, we even had to call them to meet us to check in (which took 20ish minutes).

the staff took photos of our IDs, claiming that it was standard procedure. No hot drinks during breakfast. Sloppily prepared breakfast and dirty dining room
