Ambedo Hotel Phu Quoc

Hela anläggningen är en oas i en annars rätt kaosig by. Poolen är jättefin, rummen stora och rymliga. Bra och fräscht badrum, hjälpsamma ägare.

Läget är lite off, behöver moppe för att ta sig runt. Stranden är inte badvänlig.

The rooms are very spacious and bright. There’s a pool in the yard and a kitchen where you can cook something anytime. There’s a supermarket right in front of the hotel and a tiny cafe where you can get a simple breakfast. You can rent a motorcycle from the hotel manger. The staff was very nice and helpful, but we had to use the translator app to communicate.

The location is not the best, but if you rent a bike, it’s very convenient to go anywhere and explore the island. The leaking pipe of the hygienic shower in the bathroom was bothering me a bit, because I was afraid that I’ll break it. But in the end everything was fine. The shower does not have a border, so everything around gets wet, but that’s pretty common in Vietnam.

We stayed here for about a month and absolutely loved it. The property has a beautiful swimming pool with a lovely garden, shaded by palm trees — a true piece of peace and relaxation. There is a shared open-air kitchen that is very well equipped and perfect for everyday use. As soon as you step outside, you’re in the middle of authentic Vietnam: local food everywhere, small shops like a neighborhood market, and a large supermarket right across the street. It’s just a few minutes by scooter to Duong Dong town, and since the accommodation is located in the center of the island, it’s easy to reach both the southern and northern parts of Phu Quoc. The hosts are wonderful, very kind, and always ready to help with anything you need. Excellent value for money — we highly recommend this place.

The ambience of the hotel is very nice, and the host is very warm and helpful. The hotel is located close to the local market and you feel the local vibes in the early morning with the street market set up there every morning. There is a supermarket infront of hotel for daily need, which was super helpful for us.

Power cuts occurred during our stay. Although the hotel has a generator, the outside area becomes dark during a power cut.

Отличный отель!! Весь в зелени, все чисто. Но самое главное это хозяева отеля!! Просто потрясающее отношение к своим гостям. Спасибо!!

Fantastic place, clean water in pool, very friendly staff, possibility to rent a motorbike. Supermarket almost face to face with hotel.

Sometimes it was hard to communicate with staff because they don’t speak English and translator is not a perfect tool
