La famille ne parle pas anglais ce qui peut rendre la communication parfois compliquée. Nous avions une fuite au niveau du lavabo dans la salle de bain, nous l'avons signalé et elle devait être réparée le lendemain mais personne n'est jamais revenu... Les chiots enfermés H24 dans une minuscule cage à côté de l'accueil.

Le personnel adorable bien qu’ils ne parlent pas du tout l’anglais. C’était très familial. Très propre, calme. Tout était parfait. La piscine très propre.

Un peu vieillot

We hebben 3 dagen overnacht in Ambedo hotel. Het is een oase van rust op enkele meters van de drukke baan en toeterende brommertjes. Ruime kamers, proper, zwembad, veel groen, mogelijkheid tot kopen van een koffie of verfrissing. Maar eigenlijk is dat niet nodig want er is een grote supermarkt rechtover het hotel. De grootste troef is de gastvrouw. Ze spreekt geen woord Engels maar staat altijd met een (glim)lach paraat om te helpen met vertaalapp. We zijn haar enorm dankbaar. Ook mogelijkheid tot het huren van een brommer voor 150.000 VND per dag. Goede prijs-kwaliteit, perfect om Đường Đường te verkennen en zelfs de rest van het eiland.

Na een zware regenval, hebben we enkele uren geen stroom gehad.

Great family run property, clean and well maintained. Owner friendly, not much English but google translater made it easy to communicate. Nice clean refreshing swimming pool.

熱水不足，水質稍有異味

The garden is kept wonderfully and I had a lovely warm welcome on arrival. However the location was not good for me as I couldn’t walk to any restaurants. The beach had many wild dogs which unnerved me. The room was dark and I didn’t feel very comfortable there so unfortunately cut my stay short, which I felt bad about as the staff were so welcoming.

I stayed 14 nights at the Ambedo hotel and never regretted booking it. The rooms are so LARGE! I loved the quiet AC, the spacious bathroom, the equipment with mosquito plug and water kettle etc There was a LARGE bed with comfortable mattress. It was QUIET at night, no noise from the road. The 12 rooms face a tidy, beautiful green garden with a clean pool. The hotel has a nice kitchen that the owners and staff use - and it's free to use for customers, too. Fully equipped, and nobody minded me using their salt and oil and garlic etc. But mostly I enjoyed the staff. Smiling ladies. Not at all fluent in English - but always helpful and friendly. I REALLY can recommend this place. A pretty big supermarket and many little shops just around the hotel. You have to walk or take a motorbike to get to nicer beaches and restaurants from here, though. The hotel sells beer and GOOD coffee at reasonable rates. They rent motorcycles.
