Family rooms can accommodate 2 adults and one child, or 2 adults and 2 children. The rooms are not suitable for more than 2 adults. The credit/debit card used to book a pre-paid rate must be presented to reception on arrival at the hotel. Please note that failure to do so will result in an alternative payment method being required. Please be aware that some restaurants including Spey Burger at Macdonald Aviemore Resort will be seasonal, but at least one of our restaurants will be open during low season For guests staying on a Dinner, Bed and Breakfast package you can enjoy a £25 spend towards food in one of our restaurants. "Children aged 12 and under can stay and take breakfast for free when sharing a suitable room with two adults. Child dinner will be charged separately dependent on menu chosen" When booking 7 rooms or more, different policies and additional supplements may apply. Please be aware that Thunder in the Glens event will be taking place on resort from the 22nd - 24th August 2025 inclusive. This event will cause elevated noise levels due to being a motorcycle event, and there will also be live music being played around the resort until late evening.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. A deposit may be required at the property.

"Lovely, comfortable stay at a great location"

Due to low occupancy we were up garages to the 4* hotel. Staff welcoming and very helpful on arrival. Room was great with additional bonus of slippers for wet areas and dressing gowns. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to use any of the leisure facilities. Great choice of food for breakfast. Lovely location.

"Het Morlich gebouw is rustig en op een goede locatie."

Het aparte gebouw Morlich was rustiger en minder kinderen dan het MacDonald Aviemore hotel. Daardoor was de ontbijtzaal veel rustiger en rondom het hotel ook.

"Goed hotel, gratis zwembad en mooi onderhouden terrein"

De eerste nacht aan het begin van de week was in een kamer aan de andere kant van de Tesco en deze was rustig en schoon. Gratis zwembad is ook lekker.

De ontbijtzaal zat boordevol met kinderen en galmde als een zwembad. Het leek wel een speelparadijs. Ook de Tesco en zijn bevoorrading is zeer slecht voor de nachtrust. Dit was op de tweede nacht na een week. Het hotel heeft het wel heel goed opgelost.

stayed over night before a trip to landmark adventure park. The hotel has everything you need and lots to do to keep the kids entertained, would recommend a couple of nights stay to be able to fit everything in as there was so much for them to choose from. Swimming, soft play which was a lot bigger than expected, ice skating, cinema and the park plus more. nice hot and cold buffet breakfast with a great variety of foods to choose from. We chose a room with king bed and bunk beds, there was more than enough room for us all. We didn’t realise we had to book the restaurants for dinner so make sure you do that, all menus looked great and there was something to choose for everyone. Plenty of eating places across the road from the hotel and shops etc for bits and bobs.

"Comfortable stay, needed longer to explore all facilities."

Dog friendly, close to town centre. Lots of activities on the grounds. Lovely view of the cairngorms.

No fridge in room to keep drinks cool. If reliant on the hotel towels they are on the small size.

Great pool (which wasn't too busy). Wonderful location - close to train station, shops etc. Walks and trails on the doorstep. Great family room with plenty of space.
