Hotel Motueka - Some weekends may have loud Live Music playing

Common facilities were clean and tidy and in good condition. Lovely upstairs balcony

I was expecting the loud music but should have checked the closing time. I expected a little after midnight it it was after 2am on NYE

Best place for people who like good food, beers, music, meeting locals, and having an own room for little money.

Showers and furniture quite old and down, but fully functional.

Perfect location in the center of Motueka, close to shops and other facilities. The live music created such a great atmosphere, and the staff were incredibly responsive and kind, making the experience even better.

Shared toilets and showers could be cleaner. The rooms were a bit small, and I missed having a kitchen facility to prepare meals. With a few improvements, this place could be even more enjoyable for guests.

Very dirty - urine in the showers! Run down and dirty. Concerning safety - locking internal doors. Fire alarm went off in the middle of the night and we genuinely thought there was a fire. Residents burning incense. All and all - very bad.

Paper cups for coffee and tea. Thought loud music would finish at a decent hour not 2am... Large spiderweb above window. No fridge supplied for guests supplies, milk etc. Alarms sounding at early hours for no particular reason...twice! Ignored by management when checking in, asked to wait while they conversed with patrons in the bar/gambling room.

Great food and atmosphere in pub restaurant down stairs rooms need urgent attention

NOTHING!! This hotel was a rundown doss house and I’m surprised you even advertise it on booking.com The bed linen was clean and there was hot water. The landlady who was trying to run the place was lovely and friendly and worked hard but the property was so dilapidated that it was impossible for her to cope.
