Hotel Lorenza

Hotel Lorenza is a 2-star hotel and what i liked about it during my stay are as follows: 1. Economical 2. Location near most establishments 3. Parking space available 4. Restaurant in first floor of hotel so you can order anytime. 5. Staff were accomodating and friendly

I have numerous feedbacks regarding this hotel which i hope they can use to improve their services and facilities. 1. Internet is very slow and sometimes not available 2. Dirty and old looking towels , dirty and stained fabric chair which i didnt use at all 3. Weird smell in bathroom 4. Aircon is old style and gives off bad smell 5. Noisy , i heard some people doing karaoke at 11 pm for christ's sake.. if they sounded like Abeer Nehme would have forgiven them. 6. Reason i chose this hotel coz i saw in their amenities it had a SPA . Unfortunately i was told it was not available for a long time now.. they should remove this coz this is false advertisement. I should have chosen another hotel. But unfortunately you cant once you book..you cant cancel it otherwise youlll be partially charged/refunded. Will i be back in this hotel? No. But then again, this is solely based on my experience . Please give the hotel a chance. Thank you.

Would you mind taking a look at the bathrooms? The transparency of the glass door is quite noticeable, and it raises concerns as it allows activities inside to be visible to other guests.

The location was perfect, near to the examination centre that we attended. The breakfast was good.

Nothing to report here, as was better than expected and would stay at this hotel in the future.

Location, breakfast

There were two pillows that were dirty and had no pillowcase. We called housekeeping three times before they tended to our concern. They just put the pillowcases without changing the dirty pillows. Bad customer service.

I always stay at the Lorenza when in Tacloban, if they have a room available. The breakfast there is great and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff is always helpful, courteous and very kind. I really like staying there - it feels comfy and secure.

On my last visit there the bidet hose popped open in the bathroom and started spraying water everywhere. I turn the water off at the toilet valve and then went down and told the front desk clerk what happen. I showed her a picture of the broken hose that I took with my phone. She said she would call the plumber. This happened on a Sunday morning. I left early Monday morning and it had not been repaired. I used the shower wand to fill up the tank on the toilet when needed so I managed.

AC very noisy, room is smelly, very thin and not pleasant bed cover.
