Rarely would I give 10 points to a place but this was really fantastic. Great value for money, fantastic offering (onsen, free drinks, comfy beds) and really helpful staff. It’s also brilliantly designed

Location, staff, and service are superb. It’s located at the Center of the old town. There is a free sake and drink hours daily until late night in the communal area, which is a nice place to wind down after a day outside. There is also a parking place, which is good. You get the feeling of a modern and traditional Japanese style.

Breakfast is not meeting my expectation for such a nice place. Especially the western breakfast. Maybe should stick with the Japanese breakfast.

Location was perfect, hotel was aesthetically pleasing, staff was 100 attentive and helpful. The happy hour was very generous.

The beds were a bit too hard for me.

Super nice staff and free sake tasting was good.

1. The mattress was the most uncomfortable thing I have ever had. It is old and has a huge dip in the middle. I work up every hour because of back pain. In the other hand, the comforter was amazing. 2. Spa was disappointing - you need to bring your own town from the room, but when you return your used towel after spa, now you don't have a towel for the room. It is just inconvenient. 3. Noise - you can hear everything from the hallway or even from next door. Not very comfortable situation.
