The pool area is beautiful and quiet with lots of nature nearby! We loved the mangrove area and had a lovely kayak down the river to spot birds in the morning. There are lots of nice restaurants on the beach and nearby!

The staff were lovely but unfortunately the service is far from 4 star. Food was exceptionally slow and bad quality, and English wasn’t very well understood by most staff. Beds and rooms weren’t looked at or cleaned for our 3 night trip. Lovely hotel but avoid ordering food - especially breakfast which was largely inedible and had lots missing.

The style of hotel was really nice, every corner of it was beautifull, and the staff were excellent and very pleasant!

I currently stayed at this hotel and overall it has been a good experience! The staff has been the highlight - very friendly, attentive and quick to help. They even arranged an off-menu dinner one christmas evening, which I found incredibly thoughtful. Whenever I needed something, it was delivered right away. I also loved the outdoor pool and garden surrounded by palm trees while watching some monkeys!

There are a few points that could be improved to match the expectations of a 4-star standard. The room is clean and beautifully designed, though the bathroom interior could feel more premium to match the quality of the room. I missed some basics that I would expect from a hotel in this price category – such as a good wifi connection, daily cleaning service including changing towels, bathrobes, slippers, higher–quality toiletries and a more premium hairdryer. Just as much as the basics, the “wow” features were also missing – those little extras that create a memorable stay and justify the price point compared to other 4-star hotels. The restaurant offered good food, though the pricing was significantly higher (2-3x) than in local places without reflecting that level of exclusivity or quality in taste. These small but important details could create more of a “wow” feeling and justify the price compared to other 4-star hotels. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and see great potential. With a little more focus on details, this hotel could become truly outstanding.

I was accommodated in a beautiful cabana right by the Laguna, which is the largest private one in the entire hotel. The ground floor bathroom is private and there is one on the first floor room with a beautiful veranda and view of the Lagoon. The room has new equipment. Everywhere was clean, the staff was kind and smiling, good food, good service. I recommend this accommodation.

The only plus for this hotel is the staff…

I definitely do NOT recommend this hotel - unless you enjoy wasting your money :) This place has absolutely nothing to do with a 4-star hotel, except for the price, which is completely unjustified. The biggest issue is false advertising. The room is advertised as 40 m², while in reality it is around 18 m². That is not a small mistake - that is a massive difference and extremely misleading. You are literally paying for double the space that you do not get. The bathroom situation is awful as well. Although it is described as private, it is not in the room and its condition is not good at all. I would also like to mention that basic toiletries were not provided, despite being clearly listed in the hotel description. There was no shower gel in the room and when I asked for it, I was told that this hotel does not offer shower gel at all, which directly contradicts what is advertised. Only after insisting was I given a used, old shower gel, which was completely unacceptable for a so-called 4-star hotel. During my stay, I found scorpions in the bathroom several times. Showering while worrying about insects, including scorpions, is not something anyone should experience in a hotel claiming to be 4-star. The Wi-Fi barely works. Most of the time it doesn’t work at all and when it does, pages take ages to load. This was reported multiple times, with no real improvement. In 2025, functioning internet should be a basic standard but here it is not. Overall, the hotel is overpriced, misleading and disappointing. Calling this place a 4-star hotel is simply not honest. The only positive thing about this hotel is the staff- they are kind, polite and always smiling. Unfortunately, good staff cannot compensate for false descriptions, poor conditions and a standard far below what is advertised. Save your money and look elsewhere.

Unfortunately, our stay wasn’t very comfortable. The ventilation panels in the bathroom let in a lot of mosquitoes, which made it difficult to sleep. Because of these panels and the overall construction of the building, you can also hear everything other guests are doing — talking, coughing, using the toilet, and other unpleasant noises. During our stay, we also had very loud neighbours who were shouting and making extremely unpleasant sounds, which made the experience even worse. Breakfast prices are also very high compared to local standards. On the positive side, the place itself looks very nice. However, due to the issues with mosquitoes, the lack of sound privacy, and the risk of ending up with noisy neighbours, I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful stay at this resort. It’s a small property with just a few rooms, which makes it feel peaceful and exclusive. The facilities are beautiful, but what really makes the difference is the staff. Everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming, especially Ajith, who always goes out of his way to make you feel comfortable and at home — and always with a big smile. On top of that, the food he cooks is absolutely delicious. Highly recommended! The lake-view room was amazing, with breathtaking views. They also provide kayaks, so you can explore the lagoon, which was a great experience. The location is secluded enough to disconnect and enjoy nature, yet only about a 10-minute walk from the beach. During our stay we saw monkeys, peacocks, iguanas… and the two lovely dogs that live on the property made it feel even more welcoming. Don’t hesitate to stay here — it’s a special place.
