Location was good close to everything you need very clean room coffee and bun were nice touch in the morning pool was welcoming wifi pretty good We enjoyed would recommend

Our only problem was there was no hot water at least not for our stay

The little pool outside was ok. The staff was friendly.

The room was suuuuuper noisy, there were animals outside making lot of noise and building works. The mosquito nets in the windows don't work. There were not only mosquitos everywhere but cockroach in the bed and little salamanders in the room.

Really clean, nice big room with great AC.

About a 5 minute walk from the centre of town and the pathway up to the property isn’t very well illuminated at night or signposted. Pillows were hard but bed was big and comfy.

The staff were nice and the location was great.

1. There were several blood stains on the bed when we arrived. We were given new sheets to change the bed ourselves because the cleaners had already left and the receptionist was a young boy who didn’t know what to do. 2. The biggest design flaw of all. All the doors and windows have reflective stickers on but have all been stuck on the wrong way. This resulted in people being able to see into our room at night, but we couldn’t see them. Also people could see directly into our shower (it had the same stickers on it) from the outside! You could see people showering, we had to get to get a sheet to cover the door. I have no idea why it has been designed like this? (Photos taken from outside the bathroom and outside the room) 3. Due to the ceiling material, there were always tiny bugs in our top floor room and on the bed. 4. The shower has an ants nest, so every time the shower turned on, red ants filled the bathroom floor and walls. Very uncomfortable, as the shower pressure is very low and takes a longer time to shower. 5. The shower is a wet room and built on a slant, so every shower resulted in a mini flood in the main room. We were given towels for this on the second night.

Location is good. Close to Playa Zipolite

I chose the property because of the pool, since I was traveling with my elderly father and it is quite hot. The pool was not functioning which was the sole purpose for choosing the property, as it was considerably higher priced than other properties. I did ask for discount after telling them that was sole purpose of choosing the property but was refused.

The bed was really comfortable and the room beautiful. The pool was clean and the area surrounding it is in a good shape and exudes a warm and cozy atmosphere.

The first thing I had to do upon entering my room was to spend 1,5 hours killing ca. 40–50 moskitos (no joke!)—at approximately 35° C, as of course I couldn’t open the windows, and there is no AC. After a while, I developed strategies for spotting them like laying on the floor in order to use the white walls as a background which would allow me to see them better. It was an adventure, especially considering the boiling heat and that the moskitos seemed to multiply out of nowhere and often hid very well, which required patience and creativity. I became ambitious, jumping to the ceiling, howering to the ground and blowing to different areas in the room, which would make them reveal their position. I was very proud of myself once the battle was won. I thereafter never opened the window during my whole stay without a moskito net and discovered maybe 3–5 new moskitos each time i re-entered either the room or the bathroom, but after the initial massacre, I felt like a veteran and killing those few individuals was easy. In the future, I will definitely check a hotel room for moskitos before accepting it. Apart from that, an AC would be really valuable, because the heat in Zipolite is completely crazy. After two days in Zipolite, i had to travel to a location in the mountains to cool off for a couple of days.
