Collingwood Hotel

The location was fab,. Franco and his son Micheal were amazing... made a fuss of our grandson Louis, nothing was too much trouble and breakfast was great. Room was spotlessly clean, intact the whole hotel was !!

There is nothing to improve.

The host and is son can't do enough for you and they so polite and helpful from the first day carrying our bags up to our room and the breakfast perfectly cooked definitely on my list for another visit

Franco & his son were great hosts, rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast was lovely & great location for tram services into central piers. Cot was already set up in our room for arrival and highchair was provided for breakfast.

Pillows weren’t the comfiest but that’s just me being picky.

I didn’t actually stay in this hotel, I was put in one nearby, the Sunnydale. I was contacted the night before my booking and was told I could either stay in the Sunnydale or cancel my booking. I felt it was too late to book anywhere else, also I had trains booked, so I stayed at the Sunnydale. All I really liked here was the breakfast. Bed was comfortable Good location, tram stop nearby

Room on second floor, struggled with my bag up the stairs. No offer of help. So don’t book if you have mobility problems. No toiletries as was advertised No replenishment of coffee, milk etc. also as advertised . Wi-Fi didn’t work for me You have to pay £50 in cash deposit in case of damage( which was in the conditions, but I didn’t see until after booking) When I questioned this, the owner showed pictures on his phone of soiled sheets which was totally unacceptable and unnecessary.

Enjoyed our time at the Collingwood,spotlessly clean,comfy beds and very good breakfast.Lovely.
