The location was great for the NEC, thats the only positive comment.

The hotel is dated, no air conditioning and my windows didn’t open, one of the rooms flooded from the shower. The light fittings were loose, probably with the weight of the dust. House keeping did not clean the rooms or change the towels or empty the bins, they left the soaking wet towels on the floor from the flood and we walked back into them. Emily was amazing trying to rectify the issues as best as she could.

Location is very good

Bizarre breakfast procedure (having to collect plates and fruit juice from receptionist). Hot breakfast is good but no cereal, fruit etc so overall breakfast experience is very poor. Shower would not run cool / cold ... not pleasant on the hottest days of the year.

Bar staff was lovely

The staff on the evening of our meal were miserable not freindly at all .we had a carvery we went down at 6.30 pm . The food was terrible there was only 2 meat choices which was turkey and gammon there no beef . The veg was dry they need to step up there game . Just terrible!!!! Me and my husband stayed in room 207 right at the top I asked for a low floor ... We stayed over night on Thursday the 18th june has we was attending a funeral early Friday morning .. Come to have a shower the door was off the hinge at the bottom of shower an the n the shower wasn't working properly it was a night mare ...I would never stay there again . The only good thing about it was the buffet breakfast on the morning obviously a different chef .

Ideal location for our weekend at gardeners world in the NEC and quite a few decent pubs to frequent.

The area seemed to lack shops for browsing ! Pretty petty I know, but other than that... ideal for a couple of nights.

De kamer en badkamer waren fris, netjes en schoon. Het bed lag lekker. Je bent in de pub echt tussen de locals. Vriendelijk personeel. Pizza gegeten in de pub en die was lekker. Filipijns restaurant in de straat is erg goed. .t.o de uitgang aan de achterkant zit een cricketveld. Leuk om te kijken.

De gangen naar de kamers toe hadden een onprettige/ onfrissr geur (zit in het tapijt?) De verwarming in de hal beneden hing los.Er mag iets meer aandacht zijn voor het onderhoud algemeen.

Breakfast was very good. Check in and out good. Dining room was a little dark. Needed an extra chair or stool in room. Bathroom good and lovely towels.

No beer garden.
