Rossington Hall

We had breakfast at The Lodge which was very tasty with great poached eggs and friendly staff. The bedroom was large and very light and comfortable. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. The ground floor rooms were very grand yet comfortable.

You need to be aware that there is no lift in the hotel. There are many potholes on the access road to the hotel so you need to drive carefully.

Old worldy a beautiful place very clean a great place for a wedding plus what team they have nothing is too much trouble loved it 👍💕

A few odd jobs that need doing around the place to give it curb appeal plus places in certain rooms other than that we enjoyed our stay 👍💕

Breakfast would have cost us another £50 for the two of us, which is ridiculous. Quite noticeable that we were the only diners in the Hotel. The menu was very basic. The Soup was cold, & the meats Lamb & beef were overcooked. We were invited to eat at the Lodge for breakfast once they announced the costings to eat in the Hotel. A cooked breakfast for £11 a head did not include the following. tea, Coffee, toast Juice etc. If I bothered to make the calculations I would suggest that it would equate to the price to have breakfast in the Hotel. Having spent time in countries such as Iraq & Afghanistan, I can like the condition of the driveway leading up to the Hotel to be of a similar standard. We won't be returning to this Hotel I'm afraid. We are looking at the Mount Pleasant Best Western as a more suitable facility. Kind regards, Dave.

the only thing was the temperature in the hallway outside room to do with boiler for hot water. it was @35 degrees. Need a system to release heat in warmer months
