Room was OK for the price

I showed up at about 12:30. Check in was 3 pm, but there were virtually no cars in the parking lot, so I figured they probably had a room ready. The female said no early check in was possible. I sat on the ground reading and smoking a cigar. At about 2:00 the male said he would check me in. He saw I wasn't that happy, and even though this was still an hour before check in he apologized for not checking me in earlier, saying that the computer doesn't allow you to check someone in early. I guess he thought I was an idiot. He asked if I wanted a smoking room. I said no. He said you were smoking. I said I don't smoke indoors, and I don't like the smell of smoking rooms. He gave me a smoking room anyway.

The staff was nice. The man who checked me in was very pleasant. He explained everything and was very accommodating.

Rooms are very dated. The air conditioner and heater were portable units. We had to move things around to plug the air conditioner in. The couch was very old and torn. Also, there wasn’t a microwave oven.

Did not have the complimentary breakfast. Was nice to have fresh towels daily. And the workers were nice.

Sink and tub did not have stoppers. Not as clean around wall edges. Thermostat did not work properly. Some of the walls needed replastered. Not sufficient wall plugs. And could be set up with some computer plug ins. Also, adjourning door did not feel safe. We propped the chair under door knob.
