JT Abergwaun hotel

A 2 bed roomed apartment was available which suited us perfectly as father and daughter.

The staff were excellent. The hotel manager was particularly helpful and friendly. The restaurant was very good and again, the staff were great.

There was no hairdryer in the room. The toiletries were almost empty. The hotel was closed at 8.30pm, I couldn't get a coffe.

Location is good. The room was very clean.

There was no one at the hotel when I arrived. I had to go away and returned 3 hours later. The drainage in the shower was poor. I was told breakfast would be available from 8 am but when I went down there was a note on the door to say there was no breakfast. I tried to contact the hotel several times prior to my stay but no one answered the phone or emails

High quality food and cooking - excellent dinner and breakfast

Comfortable bed. Nice shower. Food in the evening was superb.

Toilet seat was very loose, sink was cracked. Had to ask for a hairdryer…there wasn’t one in the room. The duvet was too thick.

Room was great. The owners were helpful and charming. Evening meal in the restaurant was delicious.

I have heard it described as a restaurant with rooms. Check in procedure had the feel of a B&B rather than a hotel; reception was unmanned. Noone answers the main hotel landline number; this made it awkward for the luggage transfer service to delver my unaccompanied luggage.

Excellent food.

No staff on site overnight ( and we were not prewarned of this). No staff when we needed to check out. Towels were very old and frayed.
