Great place to stay. As a woman solo traveler, I felt safe. Its not too far from Cloudbridge Reserve Natural and the access to the river was incredible..

This hotel has so much character! What a beautiful and unique place to stay! The owners were very friendly and accommodating… the food at the restaurant/bar upstairs was so fresh and delicious. It is clear that a lot of love and intention has gone into making this place feel like home.

It is a bit noisy… our room was right under the restaurant/bar area and you could hear every footstep… but we were prepared with earplugs and this did the trick! So it wasn’t a big deal :)

Perfect location, especially to climb the Cerro Chirripo. The staff was amazing and super helpful. The excellent breakfast and lunch as well as the hot shower were most welcome after the trek.
