Beautiful jungle setting. Up a steep lane. Rooms on different gradients as property on steep slope. Beautiful views from balconies. Stunning natural pool with waterfall.

Only the nature

Poor staff service. Room was bit dirty. Food was not good. There’s no any entertainment facilities. For the final payment they have added breakfast tea amount to the total bill separately ( I was paid for BB for two days). Food was late every time when we ordered.

Nice Apartment with an amazing view of sri lankans beautiful nature, perfect to calm down. A river is passing near by where you can take a swim. The owner and her family are super nice, heartwarming people, the food is delicious- we would definitely recommend this place!

What a seriously magical place! Coming from busy Colombo and finally breathing again in the middle of those giantic green mountains. The little house we were living in was the ideal place to calm down, to relax and to reconnect with the beauty of nature. No pool? No problem! The fresh water stream with crystal clear and cooling water (which is 1min by feet far of the accommodation) is way better than every pool we could have asked for. With little curious fishes inside, that will give you a normally expensive paid treatment. In the area are also waterfalls and plenty of possibility to hike. But come with a scooter or anything, otherwise you will depending on tuk tik, which is neither a problem, as there are always plenty of them waiting to bring you anywhere. But what we really loved the most is the beautiful manager, that became within 2 days like a friend. A young well english speaking and always caring, lady that lives with her family over there. As I was sick when I arrived she prepared even an ayurvedic treatment for me, a hot inhalation with herbs of the property. Another day she joined us for a little exploration and acted as our personal photographer. We had so much fun! And we seriously gonna miss her and her amazing property. Her mom is the cooking chef and performs every breakfast and dinner some magic in the kitchen. They also cared for some special requests and I enjoyed all the food they served us sooooo much! The rooms are actually individual chalets built on a steep hillside that drops down to a beautiful little river. It’s a short walk down to the river or up to the dining area via well-formed steps. The location is truly stunning and so peaceful. You are surrounded by jungle-covered hills that are full of birdlife and monkeys. I was only going to stop for a night on my way back to Colombo but ended up staying an extra night because I loved it here so much. I could have stayed here for weeks to be honest - I think it’s the best place I’ve stayed on my 3-week trip. The location is amazing but even that was outshone by the the friendliness of the hosts - Rangi and her parents are wonderful. Rangi is a very intelligent abd delightful young lady who really can’t do enough for you, her father will regale you with his stories of climbing mountains and her mother will cook you many wonderful Sri Lankan dishes - be warned, you will leave the table very full!

We had such a great time at White Villa. Rangi helped us with arranging everything we needed and we did some nice activities like rafting and a jungle trek. The view from the room is absolutely amazing and it is such a beautiful, calm place to stay close to nature. We really liked the natural pool which was just 1 minute away and the room was spatious and comfortable as well. Everyday they cooked delicious Srilankan dinners for us and we felt very welcome and comfortable. Thanks so much for everything, could not have wished for a better stay!

The host was very supportive. Provided delicious meals with a wide variety. There are few natural pools nearby with easy and private access. The location has a nice view with a quiet surrounding. It's conveniently situated just 5 to 10 minutes away from Kitulgala, allowing easy access to all the adventurous activities this area has to offer. If you are a person who would love a homely stay by being closer to nature, this would be an ideal stay.
