White Villa Kitulgala

The hotel is nestled within the jungle, you have a great view from all the rooms and balconies. The staff and our host were absolutely lovely!! They were so welcoming and friendly, they even organized a birthday cake and balloons for me!! The food was so delicious, we got a barbecue one night and traditional meals. Overall it was a great experience!

We had a great stay at White Villa. The bed was comfortbale, the bungalow has a really nice view and the natural pool in the river is just a few steps away. Especially Rangi and her family are super hospitable and helpful.

Location - cool being submerged in the jungle and the food was delicious!! And swimming hole close by.

The bathroom could be better maintained

Friendly host who took time to communicate with us prior , on site caretaker who went out of his way to pick coconuts and take us on a spider hunt , rooms in the jungle , welcome drink plus cake, BBQ after rafting

Loved it all

you get a little cottage in the jungle. it's awesome! and there's a wonderful little pool! be aware that it's difficult to get there by car, TukTuk and motorbike work fine. as I understood, they come and pick you up from where the car can go. the hostess is super courteous, food is tasty and plenty.

with being in the jungle comes humidity, at least in July. at night you can either keep the windows open, in which case it's nice, but you risk squirrels, monkeys, geckos... coming in - we kept them closed. with the fan and moscito net it was fine. there were lots of hair on the bed when we arrived, but they changed the sheets immediately and without discussion.

Our stay at White Villa was amazing, rooms were super clean and comfortable, and the location was great. All villas are fully connected to nature, and walking distance, there is a natural freshwater pool. Also, the food was delicious. They made everything home made and lots of ingredients from their Garden so super fresh. The owners are super friendly they arranged everything that we require. Hope to visit again soon.

The road to the hotel was almost impossible to use but they will restore it. The bbq dinner.

The location is fantastic, right next to a charming mini waterfall with spa fish inside. Rangi provided us with exceptional service - truly the best we've ever experienced.

Wonderful setting,each pod in its own space set above the canopy with no obvious neighbours. It’s own path down to a river tributary pool and cascade to swim in. Comfortable, clean, simply but tastefully furnished. Great communal dining space overlooking the rain forest. Only four(?) bedroom pods so an intimate environment .
