Room a little small

The staff was ready for us despite a last-minute booking. they graciously spoke English to us, which was very welcome after a particularly long day traveling. The air conditioner worked wonderfully. The bed and pillows were unexpectedly comfortable and good quality. The attached bath was adequate and had hot water. There was dedicated parking for the hotel, which was helpful as parking is at a premium in Montezuma.

The room was barely large enough to walk around the bed, with no room for luggage. The price for the room seemed excessive given how tiny it was, and no breakfast was included.

Big room, perfect for 2 friends as both beds are huge. Great location and restaurant.

The windows dont open. We had no view at all (a wall in front of the window).

The embiance, the garden, it was close to the beach and all the shops, markets and tours.

No refrigerator. Half the lights in the room were burned. No windos. Matress were really old and look dirty and unsanitary. The overal look of the room was really poor. For that price breakfast was not even included. It was not worth that much.

Location is close to beach. Cement structure of room is looking nice. Breakfast was a bit pricey but delicious.

The only room window is looking to public stairs and mot much private. Windows dont open. There was very strong smell at night that woke up us. No ventilation in room/toilet. No mobile signal in room due to building. The staff tried to convince for a very expensive transportation and we booked it for less than half price. 2 nights we stayed in the hotel, in the middle of night there was alarm from the hotel and it kept ringing aloud for 20 minutes.

The property was really cool and funky. We really enjoyed the atmosphere despite and because of the quirks. We booked last minute, so choices were limited, and the prices weren’t the best, but we were overall happy with what we got. We only stayed one night, so we did not get to try the restaurant or any of the other amenities. The air conditioning was very effective and we slept fantastically.

I was pretty disappointed to find that the hot water selector did not work in our shower as I had been looking forward to shaving! The room smelled a bit like swampy stagnant water, though this may have been because of the air conditioning. The room we were assigned was right next to the stairway, and had windows overlooking the stairs in both the room and the bathroom. The windows were up high enough that nobody could easily see into our room for the most part, but we did keep the shades drawn to feel a bit more secure. Unfortunately there were no shades to draw in the bathroom, but as I said, nobody could really look in, it just felt a bit odd to be on the toilet where it felt exposed! Last thing of note- the couple in front of us checking in got their introductory spiel about where to find breakfast and using the hotel accommodation after they checked out etc, but when we got to the front we were told that because we booked through booking.com none of that was included. No breakfast etc. not the end of the world to us, but seemed like the property was scrimping on their booking.com offer.
