Stay Golden

The setting is beautiful and we really loved the café and pool. The staff is really lovely and they also offered us to drive us to our next accommodation in town.

The double room is quite small, so for a longer stay we’d probably seek a bit more space for that price.

Great place in Arugam Bay! Only a few minutes from the centre and with it's "own" beach. The owners and staff is very friendly and to their utmost best to help you with all sort of activities. They booked a surfing class and safari to Kumana National park and these were great. Also a very nice swimming pool and work/chill area.

Just small things. The bed and shower are not really suitable for long people (1.9m+). Beach towels are a bit old and therefore shedding a lot. And we think the smoothie bowls have great flavor but it's nice if they are really cold/frozen.

Angie and Rihan were the kindest hosts! I felt so well looked after and anything I needed help with they obliged.

Really nice staff / owners and we were very lucky with the upgrade on our room! Even if not in high season, it's worth it.

everything. we ( 2 adults and 1 child) came here in early January for one week. the weather was perfect, the hosts, Angie and Rihan, couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. the stuff were super friendly and the setting is simply beautiful. we‘d highly recommend to take the (for free) bikes for a beautiful ride through the rice fields next door, where we saw elephants, tons of deer and crocs. also try the best curry you can find or surf the waves just in front. we‘ll surely come back!

Awesome place directly at the beach and away from the main road. Angi and her husband Rihan created an amazing place to relax. They offer a lot of tips to do around the area and are always open for a talk.

The food was great with a variety of options, the property was aesthetically very nice and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. The property has easy beach access and a beautiful pool area, the staff were helpful when asked and the stay was very relaxing. The property is very well maintained and the facilities are fantastic. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

it is a very relaxing stay, however, a very quiet resort making it hard to be comfortable all the time, the rooms face one another which is fine if you have the windows drawn all the time but that doesn’t allow for any natural sunlight at all. Due to the water systems being on solar we only had 1 hot shower during our stay but the water pressure was great. The bathrooms are very tidy and functional however, there isn’t a closing door to the bedroom and the bathroom which could be awkward for some guests who are still seeking some privacy on the toilet.

The most relaxing place we stayed at in Sri Lanka. The Hosts were most welcoming, always helpful, answered every question and create a very familiar atmosphere and are able to build a special bond to their guests. Additional to a very professional service! The chalets are very clean, perfectly equipped with comfortable beds and areas to retreat. The beach is right beside the resort and on top a nice pool.

Budget room was a small, clean room, good value for money. Nice yoga/surfclasses organized by the friendly owners, childfriendly, relaxed atmosphere, quiet area close to the beach

Overall everything was nice but for us, compared to other resorts, the hotel lacks a bit coherence.
