NLThe location is absolutely perfect. The cabanas are also very clean and really comfortable. The availability of bicycles was also great to get to the center.
The hospitality of the owners was a little disappointing. Upon arrival and during our stay they didn’t talk with us to explain the possibilities to explore the area. Even when we left, they didn’t ask us about our experience. This was just a bit different then we were used to.

The place is overpriced for what you get. The pictures do not accurately represent the reality of the place. The room is not clean, and it was only cleaned once after we asked for it. The owner (not Angie) is not the most welcoming person to host people. Overall, the place is overpriced and not worth the money
GBOur bungalow was very nice, comfortable with a great bathroom, and nice balcony and patio areas. The restaurant was amazing, really great food every meal we had, very healthy too. The pool was lovely, and all facilities were great. there were lots of toys and games which our children loved. WiFi was strong. The owners, and their young son were so welcoming, helpful and friendly, and so were all the staff. they all made our stay so nice. it was in a quiet location which was perfect, but an easy walk or drive into town along the beach or by road. we all miss stay golden, and hope we will be able to come again. Thank you!

PTAll the staff is amazing, especially Angie and her husband (the owners) always with a smile and kindness to give. There is yoga lessons, safari tours and surf classes to take. The environment of the hotel is amazing and all the good energies in Arugam Bay are there. They will build more in the future to expand the hotel so we will definitely come back to see and visit them. Thank you for everything!

FRThe owners are super nice and super helpful. You do not have to worry about anything and they make sure to give you the best deals for the activities. The surf lessons were great, the room comfortable and breakfast is one of the highlights.
The only thing would be that it is not in the city center should you be looking for a lively « neighborhood ». But it’s very close by foot and tuk tuk.
AUWe loved the location, quieter area and relaxing by the beautiful pool. Breakfast was amazing each morning and the all the other meals we enjoyed there too. Yoga and local tours was also very enjoyable. A special mention to the owners Rihan, Angie and Rami and all of their lovely staff.

NLStay Golden is a beautiful place! The people who work here are very kind and friendly. It’s possible to book yoga lessons and surfing lessons during your stay. We had 2 lessons and had a lot of fun. They provide bikes to ride to the city center, that’s about 5 minutes. They also had their own restaurant, the smoothie bowls were out favorite!
AUAngie and Rohan were outstanding hosts Ftom booking to arrival to helping with activities and tours. so close to the vibrant Aragum Bay but also so quiet. it was a fantastic place to stay
