Hotel Urban Tree At Delhi Airport

Overall had good ratings in terms of safety, so booked it. Facilities were met well. Could be better with certain facilities for the money..

Location and connectivity were good. Uber and other transportation services were nearby.

Rooms were much smaller than explained during the booking process. There was water dripping from the AC on the side. They didn't even give drinking water when asked. Overall, bad vibes. If you can sleep your troubles away without thinking about the room, then its fine. Else, give it a pass.

Had a misunderstanding with payment for a meal even if the meal was payed I had to pay twice. The language barrier was very bad, also saw roaches in the room and bedsheets were dirty and cut. Friendly enough people, but bad experience.

The rooms were clean and the hotel was a 20 minute taxi to terminal 3.

The aircon didn't work and the hotel declined to accept a debit or credit card for payment. This was difficult as I had no local currency and had to accept their exchange rate on GBP.

It's very close to the airport and the Metro train to it and which costs R20 and R50 to New Delhi. The hotel is very cheap for a night and breakfast before or after the flight. It's close to some passable restaurants and the new development at Aerocity where there are many great restaurants and shops. I didn't have breakfast. The young man who showed me to my room was pleasant and helpful. The bed is comfortable, and sheets and pillowcases were reasonably clean The hotel is situated away from the hussel and bussel of the main road and is much quieter.

It (the hotel and my room) was very dirty and as were the towels that were provided. My a/c didn't work, and neither was there any hot water.
