Bury Ramsbottom Old Mill Hotel and Leisure Club

Nothing the room was grubby, tired and smelled of stale cigarettes, the windows were broken, the door was a nightmare to open with the faulty handle, we asked for assistance from reception staff at one point as it took 15 attempts to open, even the bed sheets had old stains on them.

Carpets patched shabby and peeling up, trip hazard, very dusty and generally well past it's sell by date, the hotel need a complete renovation and deep clean, leisure areas are filthy, breakfast was ok apart from the crack addicts guests!

The location was excellent. The staff were fabulous. Breakfast was great.

After breakfast the bar/restaurant did not open until 3 pm. It would have been lovely to just sit and chill and have lunch with our family.

Property was dated and the food was average. Did not appear particularly clean maybe due to its age. Seemed understaffed with 1 poor girl covering many roles

We booked two rooms through booking.com and added that we would be bringing a dog. When we arrived we could not have the original rooms that were allocated as they were not dog friendly. We then had to pay extra on arrival and have our rooms spaced apart. The room my husband and son were in had a huge water leak through the bathroom ceiling the following morning too!

I paid for a premium room but didn’t get the facilities as the coffee machine was broken and we were situated above the smoking area, the weather was lovely but we were unable to open the windows due the residence smoking below

The location was beautiful and very convenient for visiting relatives and exploring the area. The staff were very helpful and polite and the breakfasts were good. Also the wifi was excellent quality.

The room,public areas and swimming pool areas are in need of refurbishment as the decor is tired looking. Also the cleaning of the room could have been better. There were stains on the duvet cover and the bath plug hole was blocked. Despite this the room was a good size and had everything we needed.

Not as clean as used t be and little touches missing,, no fridge in room, no lavender stay on pillow,little things but priceless

the location was beautiful, the assistant manager who checked us in and the lady with pink hair! the facilities are ok, the bathroom was spotless in the bedroom tho the coffee and tea ooo and the biscuits! the quirkyness of the place, it was old and Lobsided ... a little wonky..

the cleanliness of the place, the pool was green, mouldy? the changing rooms were filthy, the dust was horrendous, the lockers didn't lock even with a padlock, the bedroom was dirty, food on the wall, the dust was so thick, cobwebs and sticky residue on the dado rail the bed had no mattress protector, the pillows had been machine washed so they had gone lumpy, not comfy.. no pillow protectors, hair on the bedding,
