Hoshi no Sato

Place was fantastic, lovely room, onsen was free & our host was amazing. We arrived in the evening & not had dinner so she asked what food we liked then drove us in her car to a couple of restaurants, found one open then came back to pick us up when we'd finished. She chauffeured us to & from dinner the next night also. Nothing was a bother for our host during our stay.

The onsen was not working

Thanks for the warm hospitality of the hostess, and introducing us to have a delicious shabu dinner and eel rice as lunch the next day. The breakfast is simple but yummy. We all enjoy the onsen.

beautiful view with very quiet and confortable the best thing is hot spring in the property especially private time

- Location and size of the room

- totally overpriced for two persons - one nice older lady had to do all the work, never saw anyone else in two days - no cleaning of the room during our stay - the onsen facilities were so dirty I did not want to use them - overall a place which might have seen netter times in the past...

I really enjoyed the onsen and the breakfast. The staff was also lovely. If you can speak basic Japanese or have a good translator it's no problem to communicate. I would stay again for sure!
