Went for food. Staff were nice. Table was sticky, needed a clean. Ordered 6oz cheese burger, given a frozen burger (possibly from wholesalers or Lidl) but def wasn’t 6oz. Cheese was like an easy single, had hoped for melted cheese. Was given 7 chips on plate (I counted) and half the plate was lettuce / salad. The problem with this place is the menu is too busy. Just do 6-7 mains and do them well, rather than cutting corners on 10-15 mains.

"Good hotel in good location for Anfield stadium"

The hotel was ideally located for our trip Anfield stadium where had booked a tour. It allowed us plenty of time to relax before the tour. The check in instructions were very clear and worked well.

Despite the stated restaurant opening times, when we arrived back at 9.30pm we were informed that the restaurant was closed and we had to find a takeaway for a meal. Also some locals we had met said that we might be able to book a breakfast if we arranged it with the manager the night before,but they were unavailable so we couldn't arrange this. We asked in the morning but were informed that restaurant didn't until 11am.

Lovely, helpful staff. Great, clean room with all necessary facilities. Comfy beds.

If I were to try to find something less positive, I’d say my food (burger) was a bit ordinary. But I’d eat there again happily.
