Tam Coc Scenery Homestay

Great stay. We booked last minute on arrival - walked to the homestay, was met by the family who sat with us for a tea and chat. We then we’re take to our room 1 large spacious and comfy. We enjoyed the breakfast and they catered for me as a vegan! rented bikes from them and explored local area.

This is one of the best homestays I stayed at. The family is so welcoming and kind, they made us dinner which was absolutely delicious and so much food to eat (as well as lots of rice wine eheh), we felt like part of the family and we extended our stay. Our room was big and clean, also the bathroom was very clean. There's a nice terrace with tables and chairs outside the room. Breakfast is good and they always offer tea and fruits in the evening if you sit with them. I couldn't recommend this homestay more.

Initially booked for 2 nights, but ended up staying 5 nights - I guess that sums up how amazing the place and the hosts were :) Located on the main road, yet was quiet at night. There are many cafes and restaurants nearby. I was sick one night, and it was super nice and sweet of the host to come and check up on me the next morning. + the have very good quality bicycles to rent out - at least the one I had was awesome :)

Warm, welcoming family who do the very best to make sure stay is comfortable. From the moment we got there and Linh, the patriarch of the family offered us green matcha tea (which is delicious and very strong!) we knew that we’d love this Homestay. He cooked the breakfast on request and the eggs were lovely! It is a great location; 30 minute walk to Tam Coc or a 5 minute bike ride. I would recommend getting bicycles, the views you see by cycling are gorgeous and it’s a good way to get from A to B. Our room was amazing, incredibly clean and the terrace on our floor was just lovely to sit out on in the warm evenings. Thank you so much for our amazing stay, we’d recommend to anyone.

The room and the bed was nice. Good value for money in that aspect. Nice family who runs the place.

Not really homestay. More like a small family run hotel. The scenery part of the name is quite exaggerated. The place is located very near to a noisy, big road. Bad smell of drain in my bathroom was by owner 'fixed' by opening the window. You can rent bicycles and motorbike here. They are in a bad condition (brakes very bad, not possible to change gear, no light on motorbike). You can find much better elsewhere.

First of all the owners are the sweetest people I've met. They receive you always with a smile and in spite of the fact that they don't speak English, they always try to communicate. The room is big, the beds are super comfortable, and there is a big bathroom too. The property is a little bit far from the center but you can walk, as I did, and take bikes. It's a very peaceful place. Also there are some rural walking paths nearby. I am so sorry I didn't say goodbye because I had my bus waiting for me and there's no one in the reception. Thank you so much for everything 🙏. Tip: there's a very nice restaurant nearby called "the happy wind". Nice food and not expensive, if you don't want to go to town in the evening.

This is hands down the best homestay and place we stayed during our time in Vietnam. The rooms are clean and the facilities are good. What makes it exceptional is the kindness of the hosts. They invited us to join them for family dinner which was the best food we had while in Vietnam, they let us try their 3 year old aged rice wine. We were invited on a 20km 5am bike ride with the owner and the local community which was a very special experience. You really feel at home here and nothing is too much for the hosts. They have bicycle and scooter rental, and sell water/beers etc. at the homestay. Really has everything you need when visiting the area.

We were greated really friendly although we already arrived at 5 in the morning on short notice. The hosts do not speak English, but communicate with google translate. They gave us a bigger room for the same price and answered all our questions. The breakfast is good and scooter rental is no problem at all. The beds are really comfortable and the air con is strong.

It could be a bit cleaner.

A very welcoming vibe. We had such a brilliant time here. The room is decent sized and the place is very clean. The host family is lovely and very helpful. They gave us tips on where to go and how best to navigate the crowds as we were there on a busy holiday- very helpful. We hired scooters and had a great time!
