Petra Guest House Hotel

The location is excellent, right at the entrance to Petra, making early starts and returns after a long day of walking very convenient. The hotel entrance has a distinctive historic feel that reflects the character of the location. The staff were courteous and helpful. Breakfast was well organized with a good selection and a pleasant dining atmosphere. The hotel is also close to nearby restaurants and shops, which adds to the overall convenience of the stay.

As of January 2026: This is not Crowne Plaza Hotel as listed on Booking.com, but Petra Guest House, which claims an affiliation with IHG. At check-in, we were told our booking was considered a children’s booking and would not accommodate our full party or breakfast, despite entering correct ages and booking sufficient rooms. An upgrade was suggested for an additional fee. The rooms felt dated and did not meet 4–5 star standards. Overpriced for the room finish, but facilities were reasonable.

Fantastic hospitality, a warm welcome, and very professional friendly staff. The view from our room was amazing. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. Excellent location at the gates of Petra couldn't get a better location to enter Petra it was perfect at the end of long days walking. The food was also great, and we enjoyed the cave bar before dinner. If visiting Petra would definitely recommend staying here.

The location is very convenient for the Jett bus and the entry to Petra. The location is the main advantage of choosing this hotel. The cave bar is very nice, but drinks are overpriced.

The breakfast was adequate. We booked a half pension and except for the first night when we could order a Jordanian meal a la carte, we found the dinner buffet very disappointing. On the last night we skipped it and went to a restaurant downtown on our own account. Downtown is quite a distance on foot, but we would never book dinner here again.

ペトラ入口のすぐ隣でロケーション最高 朝ごはんも種類が豊富

敷いてあげれば、シャワーの切り替えスイッチが固すぎて大変だったことくらい またペトラ内のレストランが割引になるのだが、チェックイン時にその説明がなかったので少し損した気分になった

Hotel: fantastic location just outside the visitor centre and the entrance to the site. The breakfast is super, starts very early and has a great variety of food to choose from. Otherwise it has no spa or gym or any other facilities. Room: our room was excellent, large and comfortable. It was also very quiet. The bed was large and the mattress was firm. The pillows were comfortable too.
