Very friendly staff and clean hotel, every room comes with it's own toilet, if told to upgrade, don't it already has.

Hotel too old

The rooms was clean and comfortable. Close to the shopping areas and restaurant. The compliment breakfast was pretty good and provided order to cook items. The Bus terminal to Hong Kong was outside the hotel with easy access. The price to stay was very reasonable

This is a relatively old and well known hotel and for some reason attracts some international guests. the executive rooms on 13 and 14th floor are newish and pleasant even if slightly highly priced. The other floors the rooms are extremely tired dated and unpleasant rooms ! From memory the claim 5 stars, the service is 2 star and the complete experience is definitely 3 star.

The hotel is old but the rooms are nice clean and comfortable. The air-con in my room was not turned on when I arrived and the room did take a while to get cool. Breakfast was at the revolving restaurant at the top of the hotel. The food was not impressive at all but adequate. Coffee machine there provides instant coffee only. I was most impressive by their service. My cousin left his notebook computer in his room when he checked out. We left our luggage at the concierge and went for lunch. When he realized he left his notebook it was hours later. He went back to the hotel and found that they have found his notebook and it was kept with our luggage at the concierge. We really appreciate their service.

This is a big hotel that is older but clean. It is a few blocks away from the shopping area which includes indoor malls as well as outdoor stores. It is behind the hotel across the short bridge. The hotel does not speak a lot of english but the front desk does and can help you. There are a few good restaurants at the hotel as well. There is a 7-11 store across the street and a few local stores next to the hotel. I stay here many times. The breakfast is an excellent deal here so you should add it. It is overlooking the city in a room that constantly spins and turns a little so you see the whole city. Very nice.

I came back to this hotel after 6 years and they are still in pretty good shape Used to be one of the "key" hotel for Chinese Officials. This is an old hotel, do not expect modern setup, the room that I stay has some moulding smell, if you are doing a night or two stay, you can consider this place Price is pretty decent, at RMB398 (I think this is the corporate rate from our supplier) Breakfast is pretty simple, nothing great to talk about. Located on the 20th floor, a revolving floor.

After the FuHua hotel closed in ZhongShan the ZhongShan International Hotel is a logical choice. Same area, reasonably priced, it even looks a bit like the FuHua with it's revolving restaurant. No disappointment there, the hotel is clean, rooms are comfortable and well sized, great laundry service etc. The WiFi network appears to be open so I would advice using a TP Link Nano router or similar. Restaurants are good, although the breakfast is very Chinese oriented so that's something you have to like ( I do! ). Across the street is the Princes ( yup, I know ) Steak House and the hotel is in walking distance from the Friendship Bar and the Pedestrian Shopping Area. So, yes; good hotel. Will it replace the FuHua? Well, that is closed so it's a good alternative. But I will miss the personal attention like a cook who shows what he thing should be the right ingredients for your breakfast omelet
