Staff fantastic, location great, clean, very happy vibe

Hugo and his family were so friendly and really made you feel at home. We had a family meal cooked by his wife and it was superb and the overall hostel was a really nice atmosphere. It was very clean and the rooms were a good size and beds very comfy

Couldn’t fault it

The staff were so helpful and friendly, providing advice on what there is to do in the area and always happy to offer their services where they can! They always had a smile! The room was so big and spacious, great value for money!

There was nothing we didn’t like!

Fabulous, friendly staff. Very clean, comfortable room. Delicious dinner available. About 15 minutes to walk to the main town. Free bike available for up to one and a half hours, 50,000 for all day

Our stay at Hugo Home was very pleasant. The family were lovely, the breakfast every morning was delicious & we ate the dinner provided for 2/3 nights we stayed, which was some of, if not the most delicious food we have had in Vietnam, with hugely generous portions! The family are super friendly and happy to help with any queries. We rented a motorbike from them which was great. The room was massive and spacious with a comfortable bed and lots of light with large windows. The aircon worked really well and there was also a huge fan that was super powerful so our room was never too hot. Would 100% recommend!

Nothing that affected our stay majorly, the hot water in our room was broken but once telling them they opened the empty room next door and allowed us to shower in there instead and were very apologetic. The garden was being redone meaning the pool was a little inaccessible but we had terrible weather whilst there so it didn't bother us as we wouldn't have used it anyway, but perhaps would have been handy to give us a heads up before arriving. Lastly it said on Booking.com that we had free bicycle rental, but they didn't know anything about that. We have since had it with a few different stays so I think it's a booking.com issue and nothing to do with the hotel itself, but something to consider if you are booking and expecting free use of a bicycle! Nothing that affected our stay negatively and would not impact us staying again!
