Very central location, good room in a calm neighbourhood. Very friendly host and good communication. Highly recommend staying there.

I saw some not great reviews of this place but I found it to be clean, comfortable, well located and attractively decorated. The bathroom was recently renovated. I had plenty of hot water, soap, towels and toilet paper were provided. My room had a little balcony overlooking a pedestrian street. There is a shared kitchen available with stove, sink, dishes and refrigerator. There was a new coffee pot, tea kettle and toaster. Bring your own drinking water. There are several very attractive outdoor common areas available for your use, and the roof deck has a great view over the city. The manager Herman was very responsive and friendly.

The ad said parking was available but it was not. I would not recommend bringing a car here as parking was hard find and cost $1/ hour, which added up to $1012 pesos for a two day stay. The property is well located in the historic district, but it is up a short and steep hill, which was ok for me, but would be difficult for some people.

It felt safe, beautiful city, very helpful people. The room was very large with a bathroom and a kitchen down the hall .2 open air patio with a view of the city. Charming city and lots of history...loved it

Very steep and long hike to the hotel should have been mentioned in the write up as we are in our 70s. No place to put toothbrush and toiletries in bathroom.
