The room actually matched the pictures - very pleasant. It was nice to have access to the kitchen. There was a nice view from the terrace upstairs and the location was very good

It was the only place I couldn't pay with a credit card so I had to make a trip to the bank to get cash. The bank charged almost $10 for the transaction! Pleasant room in a good location

Be aware of this structure and this host! We arrived in Guanajuato on a Saturday having booked the room 3-4 days before, got the official confirmation from booking and no other direct message or email from the structure. As we arrived in front of the house, the host using very rude manners, assumed that if we didn’t pay a prepayment we do not have a booking at his place and that we should have read it on the confirmation. Nothing was written on the confirmation and neither the structure sent a direct message to inform us (which happened with other structures during my trip, since they have all the possibilities to contact you and tell you about the prepayment they need). Nothing was done to help us and even though he had an higher category available room, he refused to give it to us at the same booked price.

Only the location in the center of the city was good

There was a communication problem with the hotel. The result was that he used it as an excuse to change all the rooms in our reservation, and to give us rooms unsuitable for the majority of them, mostly on the 3rd floor with narrow stairs, extremely difficult to climb, which floor he had turned into a warehouse for construction materials . The rooms were dusty, the sheets had holes and the cleanliness was questionable. For these services they asked for normal room prices, which we paid despite our protests. The man who served us fraudulently avoided giving us a receipt for the payment of our money, and because he saw me taking photos and I told him that I would inform Booking about all this, as soon as we left he complained that we did not pay him. I consider his behavior unacceptable and I do not recommend staying at his hotel.
