Casa Vana Hiriketiya

Fantastic location just off one of the main streets in Hiriketiya! The rooms were nice, clean and had a beachy vibe! The staff were also helpful. I would return!

The sheets smelt a little damp and there was construction going on next door which made it quite noisy during the day and then the sound of parties during the night. Not the hotels fault but something to be mindful of.

The whole village lost power and they didn’t have power backup, but they were sorting that out. Also, monkey are getting a bit more aggressive and entering the bathroom area. They tampered with our belongings. I guess that is unfortunately what we are signing up for when we’re deciding to live in the middle of nature.

We struggled to find accommodation after being let down by our previous hotel - we stumbled across Casa Vana and what a find! The staff were lovely and so helpful they managed to fit us in to a room for two days and we ended up extending for another two night. The location is perfect, less than 5 mins from the beach where you can hire surf boards for approximate £2.50 per hour. It was so accessible to everywhere. Dunishoppers is at the end of the drive way which had the best breakfast. We will definitely be back!

La sera la stanza è molto rumorosa fino alle 2 del mattino a causa di un locale che spara musica a tutto volume (il venerdì poi si aggiunge la jungle night in posto sempre adiacente, tanto che la struttura manda un noise alert).

The best part of this hotel is its proximity to the sea, which is only a short walk away. It is also conveniently located near several shops. The staff were generally fine, and the overall design of the hotel is appealing. I also liked the open and integrated bathroom concept.

The hotel was understaffed due to the floods, so our room was not ready until about 4.30. The bed was very uncomfortable, and the room was quite noisy since it was located directly beneath the staff quarters. We could hear footsteps and other sounds from above throughout our stay.

Beautiful room with all the amenities. Short walk to the best beach and restaurants but tucked in a quiet part of the village. With little monkeys in the trees, It felt like a piece of paradise!

We loved everything!
