Very pretty place. Our room was magical! Outdoor shower was so good!!!

Alot of construction work going on everywhere. It was very loud. Nothing the owner can do about it. Internet was very slow.

We didn’t have a fridge in the room, and the room was quite dark at times!

It was a great location and we had a lovely balcony. Plus, the staff were very helpful

Very noisey at night time and building work early morning. The bed wasn’t very comfortable. Had to fix the mosquito net in 3/4 places but still managed to get bit. The furniture in the room was minimal at best and we weren’t given a bed sheet to sleep under till we asked for one. Also, the curtains were thinner than paper so all light got through.

Location was great

Mixed feelings about this accommodation. Location was perfect in the heart of the resort and 5 min stroll to the beach. You are tucked away in what I would describe and a little jungle with plenty of monkeys but so close to everything. Rooms are ok but bathroom was very nice. Grounds were a bit unkept. Towels for the bathroom had seen better days and you had to ask for clean ones and room not cleaned once in 5 days!! Beach towels were provided but again had seen better days and were stained, pillows have also seen better days all lumpy Check-in was a little confusing. I’d booked through booking.com and secured the booking with my credit card and expected the payment to be taken but the manager wanted me to go snd get him cash which I refused and like magic he had a card machine. We weren’t shown around, just led to our room. There is a communal kitchen however the manager based himself there and it felt we were encroaching on his office space so we didn’t use. In a nutshell what we had was a private room not a hotel room or guest house and for that we overpaid for what we got. The worst part of our stay was the jungle party from the neighbouring property which went from early evening through to gone 2am and to say it was loud is an understatement it felt like the rooms were vibrating and could even make out the songs through my ear plugs!! And to top it the manager knows of these parties that happen twice a week but chooses not to inform guests when they book or even put this in the marketing as I could have adjusted our days to avoid these nights as once the party finished the guests above continued parting gone 4.30 am!!!

No electricity for 15 hours.

Calm and quiet , 2-3 minutes walk to Hiriketiya beach.

Did not have coffee, sugar or milk powder.
