Casa Vana Hiriketiya

Het zag er heel mooi en netjes afgewerkt uit. Het leek allemaal erg nieuw. De badkamer was echt prachtig en ook heel comfortabel. De locatie tov het strand en alle leuke tentjes is ook top, alles op loopafstand.

Een redelijk hard bed, matras lag op een betonnen ondergrond.

Heerlijk verblijf gehad in Casa Vana! De locatie is écht fantastisch met op paar meter lopen Hiriketiya Beach. De kamer waarin wij verbleven was simpel met goed werkende airco en heerlijke douch! Echt en top accommodatie voor in Hiriketiya!

Lovely traditional property that felt authentically Sri Lankan. The location couldn’t be any better, it was less than a 2 minute walk to Hiri beach with restaurants on your doorstep for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It had a beautiful outdoor bathroom, surprisingly no bugs! With the odd monkey running past but they kept themselves to themselves. Staff were very friendly and helpful and made a nice effort for us when we arrived for our Honeymoon. I had read bad comments about the hotel being right next to a club and the noise going on all night but luckily the jungle party was not on on the Sunday we were there and we had just missed the Friday! I can imagine this would be quite loud as it is next door. If you are staying in Hiri, I strongly suggest you pre book into Smoke and Bitters for dinner one evening. You must pre book far in advance else you will not get a table.

The room was quite dark but the whole property is surrounded by big trees and greenery so you don’t get much daylight. This also meant quite a lot of mozzys. The WiFi was really poor and did not reach the room. You had to stand in the reception area to get it. The hotel is up a slight hill and then up two lots of steps so not suitable for disabled.

A lovely room and a memorable stay. The location is great and the surrounding trees meant watching monkeys in the trees whilst showering! The room was comfortable and we would definitely stay again. The staff were friendly and helpful, and left you to your own devices but were prompt a replying and helping on WhatsApp if we needed anything.

The WiFi was a little patchy. The rooms could do with a seat inside. The rubbish burning occasionally meant you couldn’t sit outside.

Älskade allt med boendet. Så vacker omgivning med all natur och grönska, rummen är stora och fräscha. Vi hade en fantastisk utomhus toalett som också var stor. Läget är precis där man vill bo, nära till precis allt! Personalen och boendets manager har varit helt otroliga, vi har fått ett fantastiskt bemötande och de har varit hjälpsamma under hela vår vistelse!

Great hotel staff were so friendly and helpful with recommendations and reservations. Beautiful room in a great location walking distance from beach. Rooms were clean.

Really nice people, very helpful with bookings for transportation, reservations etc. The common area with a kitchen is so cozy and you have a beautiful view.

Everything was very nice, staff was very friendly. Location was very good!

Bathroom was not Connected, if we wanted this we had to pay 20 dollar extra per day. We chose not to it was not a big problem but we did not know this before we arrived.
