"I enjoyed my stay, the staff were great but I'm not sure I would go back again"

Staff were excellent, polite and friendly. Breakfast was good, not a huge choice but still reasonable in a nice setting The hotel is in a nice leafy suburb with and the beach was a short walk away with an excellent resturant, the promenade stretches all the way to Bournemouth and also upto Sandbanks. Odd bars, resturants along the way although a few were closed. So it's a good base for exploring the surrounding areas.

So the rooms and the hotel, as a previous reviewer said were tired, very much an 80's feel to it, though it was clean and the bed comfortable. The balcony was not very big and looked old and worn with cheap plastic furniture. So yes it has a sea view but I thought we would be a lot closer to the beach than we actually were. They are limited on car park spaces so busy periods like school holidays will be an issue as road parking is very limited (there is a pay car park close to beach)
