Subash Hotel

The owner was incredibly kind and helpful. We had some transportation-problems, so we didn’t end up at the hotel until 4 in the morning. Miraculously he woke, took us in and gave us tea. The rice and curry was delicious. He offered transportation to Adam’s Peak and Hatton station. The VIEW was absolutely beautiful.

The hosts looked after us very well; so much so that the place felt like home away from home. The facilities were very good and clean. The start of the trek for Adam Peak is about 2km from the hotel, but we got a lift from the host at midnight and it only cost us 500 rupees. So location was not an issue and was relatively quiet compared to the town. After climbing Adam peak the host took us on a private tour of surrounding waterfalls. It was one of the nicest treks we did in Sri Lanka. Finally, the food was so delicious. The best rice and vegetarian curry in Sri Lanka. I highly recommend this place :)

A best place to stay. Value for the money.. The owner is very helpful. He has a tuk tuk and will drop you and pickup from adams peak for a reasonable price Rice & curry is very delicious.

The owners are super friendly and really helpful. Good food, great views, and they'll even drop you and pick you up from the Adams Peak walk at a good price.

The bedding was slightly damp, but that was because of the weather when I arrived. The room and bathroom were still very clean.
