The food was great and affordable, the host family was very accommodating and helpful. The father picked us up in a tuktuk from Hatton and stopped along the way to the hotel so we could take some photos of the tea plantations and Adam's Peak.

The pillows were very hard and uncomfortable, the towels were damp, and we were told that there are no busses to the hotel from Hatton but this is false. We hopped on a bus back to Hatton when we were leaving and it was nearly as fast as our tuktuk ride to the hotel from Hatton. The complimentary tuktuk ride to Adam's peak trailhead was helpful in the morning, however the tuk was not working in the evening so we had to pay for and figure out our own transport back to the hotel after the climb. The hotel is isolated from Nallathanniya (town where Adam's Peak trailhead is) just FYI, it is a 15 minute tuk ride away.
