Subash Hotel

Subash and his family were extremely kind, welcoming and hospitable. We came to climb Sri Pada, yet the highlight of the trip was Subash's hotel. We ate the tastiest curries, whilst admiring the most beautiful and tranquil scenery. You can see Adam's Peak from the restaurant. Subash also has a small food and drinks shop, and a clothes shop (reasonably priced). He kindly drove us to the start of the climb in the early hours of the day, and due to miscommunication, waited for over an hour when picking us up. But of course had no problem in doing so. Always with a smile, a great man.

Great hospitality & value for money

The room has no window. Except one in WC. Whole room is smelly. Acc. Information location should be in center, close to start of Adams peak ascend. In reality, it is cca. 3km away. In the mid of nothing.

My stay in Subash Hotel was very comfortable. I stayed one night in the family room. Room is more worth for the money that I have paid. Beds and bathroom facilities were good. Staff also vey good and friendly. Especially need to mention that we had only lunch at the property and it was a very delicious meal. I recommend this place for anyone who is visiting Adam's peak.

Wow ! Lovely room with an ensuite in such an idyllic location. The place is also a restaurant and his wife cooks the most delicious home cooked food for such a great price - portion sizes are amazing I really struggled to finish it each time. Highly recommend the rice and curry... You have to try it on the balcony upstairs where you can enjoy it with an amazing view. Owner is so so friendly and helpful, he will even wake in the night to take you to Adams peak, which is a 10 minute tuk-tuk drive. His family are all working there too, always eager to help and treat you like one of their own. I highly recommend checking Subash's place out if you're solely in the Hatton area for Adam's peak
