Skiathos Palace Hotel

Wonderful view of the sea and sky and distant mainland from around the huge sparkling blue swimming pool next to the bar and restaurant with lots of plants and shade.

No lifts for the elderly.

The scent on arrival and the cleanliness in general of the hotel. The pool was lovely and the view from the pool area was great too. The breakfast buffet was tasty. And the live traditional music on Tuesday evening was wonderful! Finally, the help from reservations team to accommodate our last minute request due to flight sickness was exceptional, can't thank you enough!

No welcome pack or free water on arrival. The layout of the room and the design of the bathroom wasn't ideal. No clothes line to hang wet items safely on balcony, no kettle (can get boiled water on request) and the hair dryer was weak. A newer more comfortable bed was also expected for a room of this standard.

Breakfast was terrible

Beautiful view from every location of the hotel. Close to many beautiful beaches. Pool area was great.

The breakfast is too repetitive for a 1 week stay. No changes at all. If you have any food or sweets in the room, the ants smell it from miles away and come to it. Had this problem in 2 rooms.

Nice staff (waiters)

It was an old and tired building - could def use a renovation! The bathroom tiles had some mould in them. The rooms were small. I think they include the outside patio in the size of the room, so it doesn’t match expectations. It was disappointing.
