GBBeautiful location with a view overlooking the valley. The host was available at all times. Just a slight error in beds as we requested a twin and double this was quickly rectified by the housekeeper who we found on site. Stunning high quality building. The breakfast served on the terrace was lovely with fresh fruit, eggs, breads, cheese/hams and home made cake. The chef was very hospitable. Total realignment shame the weather was mid 20's and cloudy. Well equipped kitchen available to use in the day/night. If warmer I am sure we would have spent time in the pool. 7 minutes into the nearest town and supermarket. Excellent location into the wine regions. Limited parking on site.
The pool was too cold to use, but I gave it a go! This is a large house with a few rooms so you are left to your own devices from day to night. The only time you see staff is in the morning for breakfast. There is a large lounge however with a family of four other guests may feel left out and assign themselves to their rooms. Rooms have no TVs you have to use the lounge. You are very isolated in the evening and have to plan your trips out as the road can be treacherous if you take the wrong road as it is very narrow and high. Please be very careful and skilled to drive these roads and get an automatic. Not sure what this place is like when it is a full house as this is very intimate 'grown up' setting. Plan your evenings we returned to the house before it got dark so not to use the roads, taxis are limited so evenings were spent on our balcony and nibbles from the local supermarket. Kitchen available for use.

To get there is very tricky. Make sure you take the ! Bigger road ‘. M600. The fact that you can’t have dinner there and the nearest place is a wi du road away… makes it not for the faint of heart.
PTThis place is special! The staff was sweet and helpful (and great cake-makers). The building is spotless, and the view is one of the best I've ever stayed in anywhere. This was better than the 5-star place we stayed at for 3 x the price. OK, no restaurant, spa, etc, but when nature puts on this kind of show, it can't be beaten. The place was spotless.
The pool was not heated, but it was spotless and had a very cool metallic tiled lining that sparked in the sun.
